The departments pay great attention to improving the quality of practical training of specialists. The laboratories are being modernized and equipped with modern devices and equipment. In particular, together with the Zeppelin-Caterpillar company, an educational and scientific center for road vehicles was created, at the Department of Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Service, an educational and scientific center for automobile transport with modern vehicles and the latest equipment from Scania, Eurocar, Energotest, Sicam and other companies is successfully operating. Practical training is provided by the branches of departments at the UkrAvto corporation, the Construction Machinery company, State Road Transport Research Institute State Enterprise, M.P. Shulgin State Road Research Institute State Enterprise and at other enterprises and organizations. The experience of training specialists commissioned by the UkrAvto corporation, where the main elements of dual education are implemented, deserves special attention. In recent years, the faculty has established close ties with automotive companies “MOTUL Deutschland GmbH”, “Dnipro Motor Invest “Honda”, “NIKO – Ukraine”, “Robert Bosch LTD”, “Ukrprominvest” and others. Faculty students receive scholarships from these companies.

Every year, more than 200 young people receive bachelor’s or master’s degrees in the Automotive and Mechanical Engineering faculty’s specialties. The best graduates can continue their studies in postgraduate studies.

6 scientific schools are fruitfully working at the faculty, the results of scientific research of which are implemented in the educational process. Students are involved in scientific work, the results of scientific research are implemented in the educational process, which ensures the improvement of the quality of training of future specialists.
