Job responsibilities:

  • registers passport documents of foreign students in the Central Interregional Office of the State Migration Service in Kyiv and Kyiv region;
  • draws up accounting cards of foreign students;
  • prepares reports for law enforcement agencies in accordance with applicable law;
  • issues invitations to study for foreign nationals, keeps records of the invitations;
  • prepares reports to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Education on the use of invitation forms, prepares responses to letters from legal entities and individuals;
  • issues certificates to foreign nationals;
  • prepares lists of a contingent of international students.

Yurchuk Tatyana Ivanivna – Methodologist of the highest category.

Job responsibilities:

  •  reception of documents for study and registration of personal cases of foreign students of full-time education,
  •  preparation of the necessary documents for the admission committee on admission to the professional entrance examination (interview) and enrollment of foreign citizens;
  •  prepares methodology materials;
  •  organizing the process of ordering, execution and issuing students’ tickets and student record books to foreign students of full-time education;
  •  preparation of draft orders, supporting (official) memos and center orders concerning full-time students;
  •  preparation of documentation on the organization of the educational process of foreign students of full-time education;
  •  registration of study cards and personal files of foreign students of full-time education;
  •  checking and supervising the work of the academic groups, the correctness of keeping and filling the journals, clarifying the issues of the educational process and the schedule of classes;
  •  systematic verification of attendance of the foreign students, record keeping;
  •  Checking and monitoring compliance with the rules and housing conditions of foreign students in the NTU campus hostels;
  •  Carrying out educational work and organizing leisure activities outside of educational hours with foreign students.

Poleva-n-m

Poleva Natalia Mykolayivna – a member of the center, methodologist, assistant of the department of electronics and computer engineering.

Job responsibilities:

  •  work with foreign part-time students at the Faculty of Management, Logistics and Tourism (FMLT), the Faculty of Economics and Law (FEL) and the Automechanical Faculty (AMF);
  •  admission of documents for full-time and part-time foreign students;
  •  keeping a record of working hours used by the staff of the Center;
  •  coordination of the IEC with the departments of the university on supplying the part-time students with methodological materials on the subjects;
  •  registration and issuance of the  necessary certificates for foreign students;
  •  keeping of control accounts of the results of examination sessions by foreign students and academic debt settlement;
  •  conducting consultative and educational work with foreign students.

FrankoTetiana Serhiivna — employee of the Center, Methodologist of the 2nd category.

  • work with foreign students of external form of education at the Faculty of Transport and Information Technologies (FTIT) and the Faculty of Transport Construction (FTC);
  • admission of the documents for education and registration of personal cases of foreign students of external form of education, preparation of the necessary documents for the admission committee on admission to the preparation of professional entrance tests (interview) and enrollment of foreign citizens;
  • organization of the ordering process, registration and issuance of student cards and record books to foreign students of external form of education;
  • preparation of draft orders, report (official) notes and orders on the center, which are related to the students of external form of education;
  • preparation of documentation on the organization of educational process of foreign students of external form of education, registration of study cards and personal cases of foreign students of external form of education;
  • organizing and controlling the preparation of semester credits and examinations by foreign students, preparation of documentation necessary for the organization of the session and practice of foreign students of external form of education;
  • conducting educational work and organizing leisure outside of university hours with foreign students of regular form of education.

The Center for International Education is a structural subdivision of the National Transport University. The Center for International Education was established on the basis of the Institute of Pre-University Training and International Cooperation according to the Order of the Rector of NTU of 16.02.2016, which was preceded by a corresponding decision of the Academic Council of the University.

One of the main tasks of the Center is the formation of a contingent of foreign students. Nowadays, more than 400 foreigners are enrolled at the university – among them are the citizens of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Georgia, Ecuador, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, USA, China, Moldova, Turkey, Turkmenistan.

The Center cooperates closely with the Department of International Cooperation and European Integration, the Ukrainian State Center for International Education, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the diplomatic missions of a number of foreign countries accredited in Ukraine. A number of agreements were concluded with agencies of foreigner direction to study in Ukraine. On the basis of these agreements, invitations to study at NTU are issued.

Work is underway to establish cooperation with international educational organizations and leading foreign universities. The necessary information on international cooperation is provided to the faculties and departments of the University.

The work at the Center for International Education is coordinated by the training of foreign citizens in the educational and professional program of bachelor’s and master’s degrees at NTU. A methodical council and a selection committee of the NTU Admissions Committee are functioning at the Center.

Educational activities of the NTU Center for International Education are carried out under the license of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine – series AE No. 636091: preparation of foreign citizens for accredited fields and specialties.

To become a student of the National Transport University you need:

  1. To receive an Invitation to Study.

To receive an Invitation to Study, the applicant applies by letter (post, fax or e-mail) asking to enroll for study at the National Transport University. For convenience of communication in the future e-mail correspondence is used.

Documents required for an Invitation to Study application:

  • Applicant’s application (posted on the link: Entry form of entrant);
  • consent to the processing of personal data (posted on the link: Consent to the processing of the PD of the entrant);
  • a copy of the first page of the passport (full name, citizenship, date of birth, passport number);
  • a copy of the secondary education document with a list of the subjects studied and grades.

After reviewing the documents, the Center for International Education issues an Invitation to Study, which is issued in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

An Invitation to Study is required for:

  • obtaining a visa to enter Ukraine;
  • confirmation of the reason for coming during passport control (checked by border guards);
  • enrollment to the National Transport University.
  1. To inform the staff of the Center for International Education of the National Transport University about the time and date of arrival.

At the Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv) you will be met by a representative of the National Transport University and escorted to the University.

  1. To become a student of the National Transport University after passing the special enrollment test (interview).

Not later than the next day after arrival, submit the necessary documents for admission to the Center for International Education of NTU for work with foreign students and pass an enrollment interview.

The list of the documents for admission to the National Transport University:

For enrollment to the university the foreigner submits the following documents:

  • application form, established by the National Transport University;
  • original and copy of the document on previous education;
  • certificate of foreign document recognition on previous education in Ukraine;
  • upon admission to study for the master’s degree – the original and a copy of the document, which contains information on the content of the curriculum at the previous level of education, credits / duration of study and academic achievement; as well as the notarized translation of this document (annex thereto) into Ukrainian (Russian);
  • a medical certificate of health status, certified by the official health authority of the country from which the foreigner came, and issued no later than two months before leaving for study in Ukraine;
  • a copy of the foreign passport or the document certifying the stateless person, translation of the passport into Ukrainian; valid health insurance policy;
  • twelve 35 ’45 mm photo cards;
  • a copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian (if any).

Terms of study at the NTU Center for International Education:

For the Bachelor’s degree, the term of study is – three years and ten months;

To earn a master’s degree based on a bachelor’s degree, the study period is one year and five months.

Timing of the introductory campaign in the 2019/2020 academic year

Foreigners applying for a bachelor’s degree on the basis of academic rights conferred by a certificate of education in their country of origin, equivalent to a complete general secondary education, an educational qualification level of a junior specialist, and entering to pursue a master’s degree, specialties from July 15 to November 1, 2019 and from January 15 to March 1, 2020.

Enrollment of foreign nationals is carried out respectively by November 01, 2019 and March 1, 2020.
